150 Students from South Asia Attend Cultural Exchange Hosted by Nanhua University

     Nanhua University hosted a cultural exchange conference for the Taiwan Connection project, which is part of the government’s New Southbound Policy. Approximately 150 South Asian students and local students from National Tsing Hua University, National Chiayi University, National Chung Cheng University, National Chung Hsing University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Chaoyang University of Technology, Far East University, and Wufeng University attended the cultural exchange at Nanhua University. In addition to strengthening ties between Taiwan and India, academic and cultural exchanges were also a focal point of the conference. The Taiwan Connection project includes five strategic goals that aims to strengthen ties in tertiary education and culture between Taiwan and India. This policy is also dedicated to establishing inter-disciplinary and inter-university exchanges as well as sharing of resources between tertiary institutions in the two countries.
